      For the past week and a half, we have been studying and reviewing reading genres in my 6th Grade Language Arts class. As a way to assess their understanding of how to categorize different books into the correct genres, we had what we called a "Book-Tasting" today. The activity was a huge success and the.   Most students said that they found at least one book that they w ant to check out, so success! Changes for next Tasting: D on't have a set menu beforehand.
